Our technical staff at Pest Solution can deliver standard or bespoke Pest Awareness training to a wide range of industries at either management level or to front-line staff.
With our experience working with both food and non-food related industries, we realise that it is beneficial for front-line employees to be able to spot pest issues quickly, and to be informed about the potential risks that pests pose. This in turn, helps to provide the appropriate corrective actions to be taken before any serious pest infestation can establish itself. On completion of Pest Awareness training, delegates will have a better understanding and appreciation of the vital importance of pest control in the smooth running of a business.
Pest Awareness training will comply with the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standards, which state that “employees shall understand the signs of pest activity and be aware of the need to report any evidence of pest activity to a designated manager.” This is offered as part of our service agreement to contracted BRC clients.

The length and cost of Pest Awareness courses will vary depending on the site and depth of pest control knowledge required by delegates. The course can also be delivered so that it is specific to your site. Pest Solution can provide training courses at your own premises or at our training centre in Suffolk.
